Louis Vuitton’s renowned Palma de Mallorca store was undergoing a luxurious upgrade. Maintaining the historic charm of the area while integrating enhanced security measures presented a unique challenge. Additionally, shallow excavation depths (no more than 30cm) were mandated due to potential archaeological significance.

The Challenge: Preserving Heritage While Upgrading Security

Louis Vuitton’s renowned Palma de Mallorca store was undergoing a luxurious upgrade. Maintaining the historic charm of the area while integrating enhanced security measures presented a unique challenge. Additionally, shallow excavation depths (no more than 30cm) were mandated due to potential archaeological significance.

Unafor’s Bespoke Solution:

Our team understood the importance of respecting the store’s heritage and the surrounding architectural beauty. We also recognized the limitations imposed by the shallow excavation depth. Unafor devised a discreet and highly effective security solution that seamlessly blended with the existing charm. This was a bespoke shroud that reflected the Mallorca design heritage and planters that could incorporate native plants.

The seamless integration of Unafor’s solutions protects the store’s valuable inventory and provides a safe and luxurious experience for customers, all whilst retaining the historic charm of the building.

When our client approached Unafor to secure their new storefront against ram raids, we collaborated to develop a solution that not only met their security needs but also created a welcoming and visually appealing environment for customers.

The Challenge

A retail client based in Montreal approached Unafor for support in protecting their staff and customers from vehicle ramming incidents. The challenge of how to provide sufficient protection, without compromising the customer experience whilst keeping within the rigorous design guidelines laid down by the City, was one that required a totally bespoke approach.

Unafor’s Bespoke Response

Unafor developed a custom solution, incorporating our Unafor Core™ security system into elegant, black planters designed in collaboration with the client and manufactured in accordance with the City’s design guidelines. These planters were designed and engineered by Unafor to function as a visual shroud that blend in seamlessly with the modern aesthetic without compromising the performance of the Core™ system.
